Shiralea is a great spot for travelers looking for a combination of community atmosphere and comfort. The rooms are basic but clean, and the food at the restaurant is surprisingly excellent. However, I did have some issues with cleanliness in the dorm and found the staff's approach a bit brusque at times. The location is decent, being close to a beach, but a bit far from the full moon party area.

The proximity to the beach was a huge plus, and the food was delightful, though I was surprised by some cleanliness issues in the rooms.
